Considerate Constructors Scheme

As a dedicated Partner of the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS), we strive​ to continuously improve the image of the industry, focusing on the key areas of safety, community, environment, workforce and appearance. In 2019, our approach earned us 22 accolades at the CCS National Site Awards.


The Armed Forces Corporate Covenant

We are an Armed Forces-friendly organisation and are proud to have pledged our commitment to The Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. We support the employment of reservists and veterans, working in partnership with providers such as the Career Transition Partnership to ensure opportunities are visible. We seek to support our employees who are members of the Reserve forces by accommodating their training and endeavour to offer flexibility in granting leave to service spouses and partners.


Disability Confident Employer

We are proud to be a Disability Confident Employer, an accreditation given to organisations that pledge to actively seek out and hire skilled disabled people, and to positively change attitudes, behaviours and cultures, within their businesses, supply chain and local communities. This brings a new skillset to our business.


Mates in Mind

We are proud supporters of Mates in Mind and actively work with them to put a spotlight on mental health within the construction industry by raising awareness, addressing the stigma of poor mental health and improving positive mental wellbeing within our own organisation.


Prompt Payment Code

As a signatory of the Prompt Payment Code, we are committed to paying 95% of supply chain invoices within 60 days, and achieving the new standards announced on 19 January 2021 for suppliers with less than 50 employees. Click the link below for our progress towards this.


5% Club

As a signed member of the 5% Club we are committed to having 5% of our workforce in ‘earn and learn’ positions and, trainees, apprentices and graduates now make up 6.5% of our workforce.
