Morrison Construction has successfully completed a major programme of expansion, refurbishment and new-build works at The Dalmore Distillery, helping to reimagine the home of one of Scotland’s most iconic whisky brands.
Founded in 1839 on the shores of the Cromarty Firth by Sir Alexander Matheson, The Dalmore is recognised globally for its craftsmanship and heritage. Morrison Construction’s work has enhanced and modernised the distillery while carefully respecting its historic character and premium reputation.
The complex programme demanded a high level of coordination and attention to detail, with every element delivered to ensure consistency in quality, craftsmanship and finish. The completed development creates a refined visitor and operational experience that reflects the elevated positioning of the brand.
Gordon Williamson, Managing Director for Morrison Construction Building Highland, said: “Delivering this project has been a privilege for our team. The Dalmore is a globally recognised name with a proud heritage, and our focus throughout was on creating a facility that reflects the quality, craftsmanship and ambition of the brand.
“From refurbishment works to the new-build elements, every stage required close collaboration and attention to detail, and we are proud to have helped shape the next chapter of this iconic distillery.”
