Morrison Construction celebrates major success at Learning Places Scotland Awards

Morrison Construction has achieved outstanding success at this year’s Learning Places Scotland Awards, securing multiple top honours that recognise excellence in educational design, delivery, and innovation.

The business was named Contractor of the Year, reflecting its industry-leading approach to collaboration, quality, and the creation of inspiring learning environments across Scotland.

In an exceptional outcome, Morrison Construction also won Project of the Year for East Calder Primary School, while Easthouses Primary School was highly commended in the same category, acknowledging the exemplary standard of both projects and their positive impact on learners and communities.

Further recognition came in specialist categories, with Beatlie ASN School winning the Space for Outdoor Learning Award for its inclusive, sensory-led external environments, and Easthouses Primary School receiving the Inspired Learning Spaces Award, celebrating its flexible, child-centred design.
