The road safety talk was held after Morrison Construction began works in the community at the £15 million Ardross Distillery development at the end of October.
Due to the project, construction traffic will pass through the community as the build continues into 2018.
A Police Scotland officer gave the talk to raise awareness of road safety among pupils and teachers at Ardross Primary School, answering any questions at the end of the session.
At the end of the talk pupils from were given a personalised hi-vis safety vest bearing their name by Morrison Construction.
The talk at the school coincides with Road Safety Week, which is held annually from November 20 to 26 by the charity Brake.
Morrison Construction Corporate Social Responsibility Manager Sally Cooper said:
‘‘As a leading construction company health and safety is our first priority, which is why we took the opportunity to raise road safety awareness among pupils and teachers at Ardross Primary School.
‘‘It was great to see the children enjoying the road safety talk today and their excitement when trying on their new safety clothing.
‘‘We look forward to continuing to engage with the community as construction progresses to ensure the development has a positive local impact.’’
