The new Fairview School has been purpose built by Morrison Construction for children with complex, multiple and enduring needs. It provides its school roll of 65 pupils with traditional classrooms but also with dedicated music and art room, gym hall, warm water pool, life skills room and quiet rooms, all connected by spacious corridors which provide way-finding aids.
Its development involved extensive research and preparatory design work to ensure the school became a model example of its type for the children, who range in age from nursery to secondary.
