The programme of essential improvement works will be undertaken at New Elgin Primary, Anderson’s Primary School in Forres, Cluny Primary School in Buckie, Forres Academy and Speyside High School in Aberlour.
The contract was awarded through the Scottish Procurement Alliance framework, to which Morrison Construction was originally appointed in 2014 and renewed its place on in July 2017. This is the third programme of summer works to be awarded by Moray Council to Morrison Construction under this framework.
The plan is to carry out work during the school summer holidays. Some initial works having been carried out during Easter, and will include the installation of new heating and electrical systems and upgrading a mains water distribution at Speyside High School.
