Portree High School

Morrison Construction is delivering this project as part of the Highland Schools Public Private Partnership, having been awarded three work packages in competitive tendering for enabling works, ground works and external works at the school.

The enabling works package comprised construction of access road and parking, service trenches, drainage and sub-structure in connection with temporary buildings along with site accommodation set up, access and associated works.

During phase two, ground works operations undertaken included site clearance, building sub-structure, internal and external drainage.

The scope of the current phase external works involves drainage, ducting and service trenches, removal of the existing car park, kerbing and surfacing of the new car park and a new traffic light controlled road junction.
