Galliford Try has partnered with The All England Lawn Tennis Club for over 25 years to develop and enhance Wimbledon - one of the UK's most famous and evocative sporting arenas and home to the world’s premier tennis event.
Plans for the upgrade of Centre Court with its headline-grabbing retractable roof, increased capacity and new catering facilities for public and debenture holders were unveiled in January 2005. Now with the planning consent and design and build contract secured, Galliford Try is developing the folding fabric design and logistics planning to enable this innovative scheme to be completed by 2009.
