South East Essex LIFT
This scheme comprises a 25 year framework partnering agreement for construction services with SEEL, to fund and develop health and social care facilities across the South East Essex region. The first tranche of the framework is estimated to be £26 million. The first project is an £8.3 million state-of-the-art primary care centre on Canvey Island (The Paddocks) which is currently under construction and due to become operational in November 2008.

The Paddocks:
The Paddocks is a Health Care Centre and combines five local General Practice surgeries with a minor operations suite and a pharmacy to form a one stop health facility for the residents of Canvey Island.
The building has been designed to be energy efficient, incorporating high standards of insulation and uses bio mass boilers to cut down its carbon footprint.
