Northamptonshire Schools PFI
Galliford Try is undertaking construction works to 41 schools within Northamptonshire. Three of these projects are new build secondary schools at Duston, Northampton School for Girls and Kingsthorpe Community College and two are substantial new build extensions and refurbishments at Weston Favell and Mereway Community College. There are also six new build primaries and 30 are refurbished and/ or extended primary schools.
In addition to extra space requirements for teaching, new community facilities, special needs provision, designated special provision areas, nurseries, sports halls, gymnasia and all-weather pitches will also be constructed. The new schools will be fitted out internally, while the refurbished schools will have their existing facilities enhanced.
